Our scented Garden Roses are delicate and require different handling and care to ordinary roses. To get the best out of your roses, please ensure you follow the care instructions below:
Remove the flowers from the box but do not remove the collars. The collars play a vital role in keeping the roses straight and facilitating optimal hydration.
Cut approximately 1 inch off the stems.
Place in at least 6 inches of clean fresh water. After 2 hours remove the cardboard collars. This prevents damage to the petals.
Leave the flowers in clean fresh water in a dark cool place, or ideally in a chill unit until you are ready to work with them.
PLEASE NOTE: Our roses are dispatched without petal picking the guard petals. This is best done prior to arranging.
We hope you are satisfied with your flowers. Any quality issues must be reported within 24hrs of your delivery.
Please do not hesitate to contact our office and speak to our Trade team if you would like any advice on how to care for or store your delivery.

You are probably aware that most commercially grown flowers have had their scent gene genetically removed to increase their durability and longevity. It makes them easier to grow, transport and store.
In contrast, we are passionate about curating and growing the world’s finest selection of scented cut roses, wild and meadow flowers that as well as being beautiful, boast an exquisite variety of scents. Our roses and flowers have their scent gene firmly intact just as nature intended!
However, even our flowers vary in scent intensity. So, we have created the scent rating scale below to help guide you to your perfect arrangement.
