What makes this variety extra special is that unlike conventional red cut roses,'Tess's' large, blousy blooms exude the natural character and charm of old garden roses.David Austin Wedding Rose Tess's spectacular blooms are made up of many, sumptuous, deep royal red petals. They begin as rounded buds, with prettily waved edges. When fully open, the large outer petals surround smaller ruffled petals, forming magnificent, saucer-shaped rosettes, which give the impression of great depth. Each bloom displays a central cluster of attractive golden yellow stamens. There is a very light and pleasant tea fragrance.

We grow a carefully curated collection of the world’s finest scented rose and flower varieties such as English scented garden roses, David Austin Roses, Kenyan Fairtrade scented roses and English sweet peas, to name but a few.
Provenance & sustainability…
We know the provenance of our flowers because we grow them ourselves on our English and Fairtrade farms. We nurture every stem from root to florist and our stringent conservation and management policy have earnt us our LEAF Mark accreditation.

In contrast, we are passionate about curating and growing the world’s finest selection of scented cut roses, wild and meadow flowers that as well as being beautiful, boast an exquisite variety of scents. Our roses and flowers have their scent gene firmly intact just as nature intended!
However, even our flowers vary in scent intensity. So, we have created the scent rating scale below to help guide you to your perfect arrangement.
